SPROUT

“Sprout” is a Post-Seussian fragment of an imagined world, hinting at a larger fictional narrative without directly referencing it (cough cough trademark and copyright infringement). The idea of a night light immediately takes me to a place of childlike imagination and bedtime stories, worlds where anything is possible, like a dandelion sprouting from a wall socket. Or maybe the fur makes you think that all it would take to make this thing feel a little freakier is eyeballs and a mouth. The light sits on a movable arm that allows both the light and its personality to be adjusted. Sprout is about opening the door to fantasy and leaving room for interpretation and interaction.
